Top 5 Favorite Table Service Restaurants in Disney World
These are my personal favorites in Disney World if money was no object! I had a very hard time
narrowing them down in an order and if I had the opportunity I would eat at any one at the drop of a

I don’t know what I like the most about this restaurant! It may be that it is situated in the Animal
Kingdom Lodge and the atmosphere is simply spectacular or it could be that the food is delicious. The
theme is African which may scare you but don’t be deterred it has both the familiar and unfamiliar.
Everything I tried I wanted seconds of and I took several trips back for more. Save room for dessert.
There is a great selection.
4) Beaches and Cream
An old fashioned soda counter located at the Beach Club Resort. The last time I went I sat at the counter
and had a grilled turkey club with fries. This place is small but has a great atmosphere. Save room for ice
cream they have everything including the Kitchen Sink (no really that’s the name of sundae you can get).
3) The Wave
Yum, Yum, Yum! I hope the secret of this place never gets out. It was uncrowded during peak season
at dinner time. The wait staff was excellent, the food was to die for, and it’s a short walk/monorail ride
from the Magic Kingdom.
2) Tusker House Breakfast
A buffet meal with characters right in the middle of Animal Kingdom, this meal starts with the best fruit
juice I have ever tasted, Mickey Waffles, Mealie Pap, and many other delicious eats. Some of the food
is African themed but there are also the American favorites such as cinnamon rolls, eggs, bacon, and
biscuits. Another buffet that features Mickey, I would without a doubt eat here every morning of my
trip. Make reservations before the park open for 8:00 am so you can experience walking through the
empty park and be inside the park for the opening.
1) Cape May Cafe
Dinner and breakfast taste so good here! I think that is why it my favorite. A buffet at both meals, but
breakfast features characters. It is never very crowded and very easy to get a reservation. This is a tried
and true Disney meal whether you are at Epcot or Hollywood Studios.
